The organizing committee recommends that you book your hotel early. The Hyatt Regency Vancouver, which is just a few blocks from the meeting venue, is offering an excellent rate of $169/night under the Access 2011 Conference (https://resweb.passkey.com/go/access2011bcel) room block, but only until Sept. 19. Details on travel from the Vancouver International Airport to the Hyatt can be found on the Access 2011 website (http://access2011.library.ubc.ca/travel-info/).
This meeting is sponsored by members of the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL) PLN (http://www.coppul.ca/pln.html). Light breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks will be provided. COPPUL is also sponsoring a hosted reception on the evening of October 24.
